The film tells the true story of the violent contest between Formula 1 race auto motorists James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 Formula One motor- racing season. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as James Hunt and Daniel Brühl as Niki Lauda. The film was well entered by critics and praised for its accurate representation of the events of the 1976 Formula One season, as well as the performances of Hemsworth and Brühl. The film was nominated for several awards, including Stylish Cinematography, Stylish Sound, and Stylish Film Editing at the 86th Academe Awards.
